Yazz Ahmed - Trumpet

The flugelhorn goes back to Bob Brookmeyer and the West Cost jazz sound invented by Dave Brubeck. I was very surprised to hear Yazz Ahmed, one of the popular female musicians from the U.K. by way of Bahrain embracing it. I have not heard the flugelhorn played by any of the U.S. women who play the trumpet which is its sister instrument.
