This concert is a tribute to all of the jazz vocalists worldwide who work the clubs every night - keeping Jazz alive. They work when it rains or shines, when the pay is good or bad, whether there are ten or a hundred people in the club.

They build the audience for the festivals that come to town once a year with the big names on tour. These singers are "our big names" that laid the groundwork for this Festival. We salute their talent and their commitment.
